Google Ads Specialist
- $25M+ spent on paid ads
- 100’s of brands scaled
- 9+ Yrs Ads Experience
Why hello there, I’m Jamie, a Google Ads specialist based in Australia.
I’m a bloke with an unhealthy obsession with Google Ads and $25M+ of managed spend to show for it. Call it a Google Ads expert, a PPC specialist, an Adwords guy, whatever. The label matters less than who’s actually inside your account.
I did my years inside agencies. Watched accounts get handed to juniors while the fee stayed senior. So I went out on my own, and now the person you talk to is the person inside your account. No middlemen. No contracts. No fluff.
I run Google Ads and YouTube campaigns for clients Australia-wide. Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Gold Coast, wherever. Your postcode changes nothing except the timezone I call you in.

and certified
Below are more fancy badges – basically when we’re going for our partner status we need to take Google Ads exams. These exams are super boring – no agency or Google Ads specialist enjoys doing these, but they must be completed yearly.
No other Adwords specialist is as committed as me
Meet Connor, Kade, Nish & Simone – I’ve been super fortunate being able to help all of them. Its also the kind words like this that keeps me hungry for more.
I’m Sydney based,
but serving Australia-wide
As mentioned up the top of the page, I help businesses all across Australia crush their goals. So if you’re in places like Geelong, Fremantle, Brisbane, Parramatta or any other random suburb I can 100% help you.
I’ve done the hard yards over the years
Throughout my career as a Google Ads specialist, I’ve been super fortunate to be able to work with brands of all sizes in countless different industries. Each with their own challenges and goals. In the end, I’ll hustle to destroy your targets no matter what.
Why Google Ads?
You can get results right now, not later
No need to wait 6-12 months to see any kind of real results like you would with SEO. Once you turn on your Google Ads campaign your ads will be live and showing for your targeted service or products in a matter of minutes.
The A.I Google has is insane
When I tell clients what Google actually takes into account to produce results its crazy. Think of it this way, Google knows what people are searching, their ages, their gender, household income and so many other little data points. All this information is a gold-mine for a bloke like me to get you results unlike any other ad platform.

The starting point for most businesses. If you need leads or sales. Google Ads is perfect.
You don’t need to spend a lot
Straight up: a good specialist saves you more than they cost, because the waste stops.
As a guide, start with at least $1,500 a month in ad spend. Some industries need more. The more data your budget buys early, the faster I can optimise.
Monthly budget
Set as big or as small as you like.
Show up & show off
Show up across Google Search, YouTube, Gmail, Discovery and Google’s marketing partners. In the end, where you show will be dependant on what your campaign goals are.

Frequent questions
What does a Google Ads specialist actually do?
Not just “set up ads”. Week to week I’m auditing search terms, building negative keyword lists, testing ad copy, adjusting bids, checking conversion tracking, and killing spend that isn’t converting. Anyone can launch a campaign. A specialist’s job is everything that happens after launch, which is where accounts are won or lost.
How much does a Google Ads specialist cost in Australia?
Depends who you hire. Agencies stack their fee with account managers and overheads. Freelancers race to the bottom on price and it shows. I charge a flat monthly management fee, quoted after I’ve seen your account, with no lock-in contract. Your ad spend is separate and paid straight to Google. As a guide, plan for at least $1,500 a month in ad spend before hiring a specialist makes sense.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No. No lock-in contracts, ever. I keep clients by getting results, not by trapping them in paperwork. If I’m not performing, you can walk.
Can you set daily budgets?
With Google Ads, you can set spending limits to keep your daily expenses within your budget. Since you only pay when someone clicks on your ad (pay-per-click), there may be days when you don’t spend your entire budget. This just means there wasn’t much interest in your target keywords that day, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Keep in mind that if you don’t use your daily budget, there’s no charge.
Do I keep full access and ownership of my Google Ads account?
Yes, always. The account sits in your name and I work inside it as a manager. If an agency tells you they own the account or won’t hand over admin access, run. It’s the biggest red flag in this industry, because it means your data walks out the door with them.
How can help grow my small business?
When someone searches on Google, they can find your business. Imagine you’re an electrician in Melbourne. When people search for “Melbourne electrician,” you can use Google Ads to make sure they know you’re available. However, since almost everyone uses Google for these searches, it can be tough to stand out.
One reason Google Ads is so popular is that you only pay for results. By targeting the specific services or products you offer, you increase the chances of generating leads or sales. The key is to focus on the most relevant terms at the bottom of the marketing funnel, where users are ready to hire or buy. When you find keywords that convert well, you can increase your budget to get more clicks and better results.
The aim is to target the most popular terms when users are ready to act. If you find a keyword or group of keywords that convert effectively, you can boost your budget to gain more clicks and improve your success.
How fast will I see results?
Anyone promising page-one leads in week one is having a lend. The honest answer: campaigns start gathering data the day they go live, and I judge them properly at 30 to 90 days depending on budget and industry. What I will promise is full visibility, so you see exactly what changed and why, every single month.
Google Ads expert, specialist, freelancer or agency: who should I hire?
Expert and specialist are the same job with different labels, so ignore that part. The real choice is between three price tags and three risk profiles. A freelancer is cheapest with the most variable quality. An agency bundles services but often hands your ads to a junior. A specialist is senior hands directly on your account, in the middle on price. I wrote the full honest breakdown: Google Ads specialist vs agency vs freelancer. I'm based in "insert location" can you help me still?
Yep. I’m Sydney based and work with businesses Australia-wide: Perth, Canberra, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, wherever. Google Ads runs in the cloud and we meet over video, so your postcode changes nothing.
